Mike Zumbusch, President
A business owner for 37 years of Insurance Brokers of MN & office in Buffalo. My wife & I have 4 kids & many grandkids. Back in October of 2019 I accepted the position of treasurer for the Buffalo Rodeo assn. Then soon after accepted the position of president, which I am currently holding. I’m just paying it forward by volunteering for what used to be a GREAT community family event for Buffalo & surrounding area. I want to help bring the rodeo back to what it once was.

My volunteerism with Buffalo PRCA Rodeo started with my reign as Miss Buffalo Rodeo. I am thrilled to have community involvement through my hometown rodeo. Rodeo has deep roots in Buffalo, and I am committed to keeping the sport of rodeo alive in the Buffalo community.

A lifelong Buffalo resident, currently Managing Partner of JMSC, PLLC a CPA firm in Buffalo
Miriam Orr, Secretary
I can remember watching my first rodeo in Wyoming and falling in love with everything about this lifestyle. I’ve been actively involved in the Buffalo PRCA Championship Rodeo since 2019, after having spent three years in local publishing and telling the stories of horses and their people in the community. My own pursuit of horsemanship continues to drive my love for this sport, and I am honored to be part of continuing the legacy of rodeo in Minnesota as the Buffalo Rodeo’s Secretary.
Rick Scott, Grounds
I’ve been involved with the Rodeo for just a year now. Previously I rode bulls when I was much younger. I’ve been around livestock and horses most of my life. My wife Jean, and I run a small ranch south of Buffalo raising British White beef cattle and a few horses. We are also the owners of Scott Build, Buffalo’s oldest solely commercial general contracting firm.
Paul Hoiland, Member at Large
I have been a resident of Rockford since 2001. In 2018, I retired after 27 years as an Army Officer. I am now the owner of True North Custom Hat Works. My wife and I have two kids, both of whom are grown and pursuing their college education. I was invited to join the Rodeo Committee in 2019 and was elected to the Board that summer. An avid fan of PRCA Rodeo, I have enjoyed attending the Buffalo Championship Rodeo whenever my Army career permitted it. Rodeo is the last remaining sport that is not afraid of letting it’s participants express their faith and their pride in this great country of ours. I enjoy working with my fellow Board and Committee members to keep our rodeo an annual highlight for many more years to come.
